Miód Malina
Address: 40 Grodzka Street, Kraków
Description
Miód Malina— “Honey Raspberry”—is a term used in colloquial Polish when delighted! This spacious haven, recognized and recommended in the Michelin Guide, delights at all levels in an arcaded location, steps from the Main Square on Grodzka Street. Spread out over two hall-like rooms, a warm stuccoed interior is made warmer by the embrace of a large oven, and a tasteful, a rustic decor with table lace and fresh flowers glows with an abundance of candle light.
The wines, largely Italian in origin, along with a reasonable selection of cocktails and liquors become yet another reason to linger on long after the meal is over; the friendly staff looks upon that as a complement. With a lovely, flower decked back courtyard which opens up in spring, an exclamation of satisfaction is in order—Miod Malina!
